Update

Hey guys, I know I haven't updated in a really long time. I'm sorry! School's been tough, I've been sick, yada yada. I'll try and update before finals, but I won't be updating daily until summer, which is only two weeks away. See you guys soon, and sorry! If I get to 50 followers I'll still do my giveaway as planned, so don't worry about that :)

Essie Coat Azure

Good morning! As you know, I love blues, so I love Coat Azure! I love the shimmer in it, it's beautiful! This was three coats with one coat of Seche Vite on top. I obviously really love Essies :)

See you soon!

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Jade Jump and Slick Slate

Hi everyone! Today I have some nail art for you guys. It really makes me crave Thin Mints! I first painted on Jade Jump and applied a coat of Seche Vite and waited for it to dry. I then taped off the part of my nail that I wanted to stay green and applied Slick Slate on the uncovered part. This was the result, and I love it! The Insta-Dris are SO opaque!

Essie Very Cranberry

Sup guys? I have been taking pictures, I swear, I just haven't had time to put them on the 'puter yet. This is Essie Very Cranberry, 2 coats. This is my favorite red!

My Top 10

Good morning! Today I wanted to share my top ten favorite polishes in my collection. I think I've posted manicures of most of these, but if you want some swatches of any of them feel free to let me know!

First up is my cremes. From left to right: Essie Lapis of Luxury, OPI Do You Lilac It?, Maybelline Banana Puddin' and Rimmel Steel Grey. The only one of these that is hard for me to apply is Banana Puddin', which is a bummer because I love the color so much!
My favorite glitter. Those of you who read this blog should have been able to guess this! Deborah Lippmann Glitter in the Air. I love how sheer it is and how I can layer it over any other color.
My duochromes! OPI La Boheme and Liquid Euphoria Dreamy. I honestly can't pick which one of these I like more... they're both so cute!
And finally, my favorites, my holos! OPI My Private Jet, OPI DS Shimmer and OPI DS Original. I love how OPI does their holographics, I wish they would make more! I spent a very long time tracking down My Private Jet so I didn't have to pay eBay prices, and I'm so glad I did!
Hope you enjoyed! I'll post another one of these when my stash grows. It will be fun to look back at this and see how my tastes have changed (if they have!). See you guys soon!

Essie Absolutely Shore

Hi! Sorry for the absence of posts. Almost everyone at school right now is sick, and I caught it too :( I also got my braces off!

Here's my manicure from a couple days ago. This is two coats of Essie Absolutely Shore, from their Brazilliant collection. It makes my hands look a little red, but I like it nevertheless!

Till next time!

Zoya Faye

Mornin'! I took advantage of the Zoya exchange a couple weeks ago and this is one of the polishes I got. I also got Dove, Apple, Tanzy, Rica and Caitlin. I'm not really feeling these glass flecked ones, but I do like the two creams I got! Unfortunately, Zoya polishes don't work with Seche Vite, which is my go-to topcoat, but I had some leftover Poshe sitting around. This is two coats.

China Glaze FYI

Happy Mother's Day, everyone! Today was sunny (well, on and off... it also hailed) so I wore a holo! This is China Glaze FYI. Found it at a dusty, like all my other hard to find polishes! It's a bit too yellow for my taste, but it looks awesome outside. This was two coats, but some fingers had three because of dragging.

Pretty rainbow!

China Glaze Seceret Periwinkle

Hey guys! Here is my manicure for today. This is my favorite go-to color. I love the application on this, it dries super quickly and the color looks great on my skin tone. This was three coats topped with one coat of Seche Vite.

Essie Going Incognito

Hey guys! Here is the polish I'm wearing right now. My friend said it was one of the most unique and pretty polishes she's ever seen me wear, so that's good! She also wanted me to write that it was a best selling shade so you should snatch it up :) (not true by the way! But it is from the Winter Collection so it is limited edition). Hope you like it!

Here it is with Clarins 230 on top!

Hope you're having a nice day!

My Stash

Good morning! Beware - this post is very, very picture heavy. Just a word of warning!

Here are the stash pictures I've been promising you guys. I'm not sure how many bottles of polish I have right now, last time I counted I think I had close to 200 but I'm not sure of the exact number. It is probably lower than that because some that I've swapped are in the mail going to their new homes. I'm still trying to build my stash, but for just getting into polish a couple months ago I'm pretty proud of it!

If you see anything you want swatches of or want the name of something, just let me know! I'm happy to help :)

I have my Melmer (Michael's version of the Ikea Helmer) organized by color. I have fun colors in the top drawer, reds, oranges, corals and pinks in the middle drawer and in the bottom drawer I have taupes, nudes, browns, fun topcoats and random polish related things :).  See my stash after the jump!

OPI Do You Lilac It? and Clarins 230

Hi guys! So I just got this in the mail and I decided my top ten could wait because I wanted to put this on! This is Clarins 230, aka unicorn pee. I really like it, even with my nubz! I do wish the green shimmer would show more. If anyone knows good combinations to layer this over please let me know!

First up is OPI Do You Lilac It, which is my favorite light purple polish

Cute huh? Now here it is with Clarins 230 over it. I like the color it changes the polish to! Beward, this was hard for me to photograph so sorry if these aren't great photos. I know I will wear Clarins 230 again very soon so if you want to see more then you're in luck! :)

You can see the shimmer in this one well:
Here's a close up so you can really see the shimmer on my nail.
See you soon (with stash pictures, I promise!)

Update: I just hit 1,000 views! Thanks guys :)

Super Nubz and more Glitter in the Air

Hey guys! I was really close to not writing a post today. I have a science test tomorrow which I've been studying for a lot, I've been in a really weird mood all day long, and I decided today would be the day to go back to rocking the super nubbins. I start violin again next Monday (my teacher went to London to play for the royal wedding!) so I have to get back into the groove of things and start practicing again. Immediately after I cut them I regretted it.... goodbye regular-length nails that normal people have! Hello nails that look like they've been chewed by a pack of wild hyenas :(

So I did another Glitter in the Air manicure today. I've gotta say, this has to be one of my favorite polishes! I love how sheer it is because I can switch it up and put it over any base color I want. I put it over a skin-toned franken I made myself to suit my skin tone. I think its super cute!

Tomorrow I'm planning on posting stash pictures and my top ten favorites in my stash... stay tuned! :)

OPI Smitten With Mittens

Good morning! I'm finally caught up so I can post things in the mornings again :) This here is OPI Smitten with Mittens. It looks very similar to China Glaze Ruby Pumps on the nail, but extremely different in the bottle! Either way I love this color and I like OPI's formula better than China Glaze's, so Smitten with Mittens is the one for me! This was two coats.

DS Original with Konad

Hey guys! I've got another konadicure for you today. The sun wasn't very bright when I was taking initial swatch pictures of DS Original so I'll post pictures of that polish later (I wear it a lot!). This is my manicure after I put dots of Zoya Pinta on it with a Konad plate. I'm still wearing it at the end of the day, so I guess it was a success! :)
